Beauty from Ashes was birthed in a season when I felt completely lost. I had just lost my third baby in a year and a half. My heart was shattered, my dreams felt distant, and I didn’t know where to turn.
In that low place, God met me. I had a vision of becoming a real estate agent—something I had never imagined for myself. In the middle of my grief, I heard Him whisper, “After this, there will be glory.” From that moment, He began to rebuild me, piece by piece, turning my pain into purpose. The Spirit of the Lord God is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners. — Isaiah 61:1
